I went to a big dance hall and heard a country song that sounded Irish at the beginning. It was quickly paced and there was a line dance for it. I believed the lyrics were something about “copper creek”, but I could be wrong.

The highlight for me on this record – beside the # 1 title track – is with no a doubt “Matador” which hit # 7 on the country charts. A wonderful blend of country, pop and a fine disco beat. Question by : How do you discover a country song from the last line of the song?
I have a country song which is driving me nuts! I utilised to know it and dance to it at line dancing. Its an older song, a ballard and the lyrics are how two men and women almost had a enjoy. The last line is “just for a moment there”. I really truly need to find out what song this belongs to, I had a feeling it was Hal Ketchum or somebody like that but I cant locate it. Any aid or suggestiosn would be excellent! I have tried looking on all my country cd’s to no avail. Many thanks!
